Austrian-born Peter Drucker is sometimes referred to as the founder of modern leadership. Through his work as a leader in the development of leadership education, he invented the concepts known as leadership by objectives and self-control. So, to say that he knows a thing or two about productivity would likely be an understatement. Day to life as a leadership professional is filled with distractions coming at us from all directions. The trick always his how to deal with those distractions, and then get back on track with what we were giving traction to!
At LMI, we can help you. With our upcoming program, Effective Personal Productivity, we will help you communicate more effectively, deal with interruptions, and learn how controlling priorities will increase your productivity. Consider this the A.P. 80/20 Rule.
The 80/20 rule suggests that 20 percent of your activities will account for 80 percent of your results.
Through our time together in the Effective Personal Productivity program, you will become a team player, and get the right people in the right roles with the right goals. Recognizing that you as one person cannot do everything yourself is paramount in leadership. Understanding your team, how they function, and what their strengths are both as a team and as individuals will allow you to help your team shift into a higher gear.
Over the six months, you will evaluate your attitudes and make productive behavioural changes to your leadership style, and you will thrive in a learning environment by setting goals and achieving results. Each session takes a deep dive into different pieces of personal productivity, leaving you with a new set of goals to implement in between sessions.
If you’re ready to move your team into its next phase and want to implement changes to your leadership style as well as evaluating your attitudes and make productive behavioural changes, reach out to LMI. We’d love to hear from you!
